Tuesdays with Junior | Monthly Recap | April 2026

April kept Junior on the same climb he started in March, deeper into tournament draws, further into the season, with the pressure rising right alongside the results.

“Love All’s scholarship changed my life so much. I have the opportunity to play more tournaments and the training that I get helps me to improve my level very quickly.”

Junior Hakizumwami, Love All Scholar, from a produced short

That’s the honest read on April: more matches, more reps, more chances to test what he’s built. By April 28, that climb showed up in the results. Junior reached the quarter-finals and called it a great result, then used the rest of the week to actually recover. Tournament tennis takes both: the matches that build on each other and the deliberate rest in between. April was Junior proving he could hold both at once.
