The academic calendar and the competitive calendar are running simultaneously, both demanding full attention, and Junior is navigating the overlap with the kind of discipline that has been building since January. This week: the books. Next week: the draw. The sequencing is intentional, the focus is real, and the preparation on both fronts is deliberate.
Getting back to the courts after any break, whether academic, physical, or competitive, requires a re-calibration period. Junior knows this. “Getting back to play” has its own process: resetting the footwork patterns, re-sharpening the competitive instincts, letting the muscle memory reconnect. He’s doing that this week alongside his study commitments.
The Dual Investment
