About Mouratoglou
Mouratoglou Academy sits in Biot, France, on the French Riviera — full-day elite tennis training paired with real academic schooling, not one at the expense of the other. Days start before sunrise and run past dinner: training, competition, study hall. It doesn't soften for anyone, scholarship or not. That's exactly why LOVE ALL sends scholars there. The scholarship isn't about finding an easier path. It's about making sure talent gets tested at the level it deserves.
Two Scholars, One Academy
Hanna Dessie was the first. Not the first American at Mouratoglou. Not the first Black athlete. First, full stop, in the academy's history. She arrived from thirteen years of competitive dance, not tennis, and left having climbed from the 15th range to the 5th range in her national rankings. She's a Division I athlete at Howard University now. Her own words on why the access mattered: "Tennis takes resources. Trainers, rackets, equipment. I always think about the kids with potential who might not get the chance because they don't have access. This sport should be inclusive. There's still work to be done."
Junior Hakizumwami followed her. He trained and studied at Mouratoglou through the spring of 2026, documented in real time by Tuesdays with Junior, before graduating and walking across that stage as a Love All Scholar, a trained athlete, and proof the bridge between possibility and reality can be built.
The Pipeline
LOVE ALL doesn't just fund a scholarship. It places scholars at institutions built to develop talent at the highest level — Mouratoglou among them. That's the model: find the talent, remove the barrier that was keeping it out, and put it somewhere built to grow it all the way. Two scholars in. Two scholars who left better than they arrived.

Junior's story didn't end at graduation. Before Mouratoglou, he trained under Joseline Umulisa in Kigali. After Mouratoglou, he went back to train alongside her at the Tennis Rwanda Children's Foundation. Mouratoglou was the middle chapter, not the whole story, the place that took what Rwanda started and pushed it further.
