Tuesdays with Junior | Ep 27 | July 7, 2026
A Different Kind of Practice
This week looked different for Junior Hakizumwami. Instead of his usual practice matches, he spent his sessions inside game situations — drills built to mirror the exact moments that show up once the score gets close and the pressure is real.
Learning to Read the Moment
Read the situation, weigh the options, commit. That skill shows up in a tiebreak, in an exam room, in any moment where the clock is running.
Casual, and Still Competitive
“This week we’ve been doing game situations, no practice matches, to get better, and some casual as well,” Junior said. “It’s been really good.”
